Just rang Gala Casino support about their bonus terms and got clarification. The 30x wagering applies to the bonus balance only, not deposit plus bonus combined. That makes a massive difference to the actual maths. Anyone else successfully cleared it recently? What slots did you use?

I always email customer support before claiming any bonus to confirm the wagering calculation. Gala Casino confirmed it is bonus balance only not deposit plus bonus. That makes the 30x wagering significantly more reasonable than it first appears.

After the January 2026 UKGC changes, wagering cannot exceed 10x on mixed product bonuses. Gala Casino at 30x is compliant but you should still check whether that applies to your specific offer type.

Best strategy for clearing bonus wagering: use medium volatility slots with high RTP. Blood Suckers at 98% RTP if it is on the eligible list. Avoid jackpot slots — they often contribute at a reduced rate or not at all.

Max bet restriction is the hidden killer in almost every UK casino bonus. Usually 5 pounds or 10% of bonus balance whichever is lower. Accidentally bet over this during a bonus feature and the whole bonus can be voided.
